Philly’s most outrageous sandwich competition is back!

Hoagie Throwdown, the highly anticipated event from Delicious City Podcast, is where the city's best sandwich chefs go head-to-head for hoagie glory, battling to earn the title of Philadelphia’s Hoagie Champion. You think you know what goes in a roll? Think again.

On Sunday September 27th at Other Half Brewing in Fishtown, the winner of the championship belt will be chosen by YOU. And in the center of it all, pro wrestlers are throwing down in the ring just feet away, fighting for glory. Last year we had a surprise bread beatdown - this year, who knows what could happen!

At Hoagie Throwdown 2026:

• Sample your way through over 20 hoagies from Philly chefs, delis and restaurants, ranging from classic to creative, and then vote for your favorite - list below, with more vendors to be added

• Live pro wrestling matches all afternoon

• Wrestler Meet & Greet + photo ops

• Vendor marketplace with local food producers and wrestling memorabilia
