Step back into the 90s and walk into a lost relic of every childhood weekend. The Tasties Video Store Bar brings back the magic of the neighborhood video store, complete with bright shelves, classic cases, and the warm glow of those unforgettable movie nights. Guests will sip 90s inspired drinks created by A Bar and BOTLD while nostalgic films play all around the room. Before you head out, grab fresh popcorn from Sparrows, pick up a few packs of old school candy, and make sure you get your official Tasties Video Store membership card. And of course, just like the good old days, Be Kind and Rewind.
CASINO ROYALE
Immerse yourself in the world of Casino Royale and enter a room filled with glamour, rich energy, and the thrill of classic Casino play. This immersive experience, powered by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, brings you into a space of decadence and indulgence. Guests can sip an espresso martini, roll the dice at the tables, and enjoy top shelf osetera caviar along with other delicious bites. Multiple bars will be pouring Tito’s throughout the night, and the room will be full of unexpected touches that capture the bold spirit of the Casino Royale era.

Slip away into Giordano’s Italian Market Speakeasy, a room that feels like a walk down Ninth Street in a bygone era. The space will be filled with the spirit of an old world market, complete with bustling sound, rich aromas, and that unmistakable South Philly charm. Guests will enjoy delicious bites from Fiorella and Mighty Bread along with a spread of beautiful antipasti laid out as if you just stepped into a family run shop. Sip on frozen Negronis, enjoy lemon water ice, and soak in the lively atmosphere of an Italian market brought to life for one special night.

Full Evening Overview
Following last year’s sold out debut, Chef Eli Kulp and the Delicious City Philly Podcast team, Marisa Magnatta of WMMR and Dave Wez of FeedingTimeTV, return with the next chapter of The Tasties, Philadelphia’s premier chef and restaurant awards event. This one-of-a-kind night celebrates the culinary and hospitality professionals who continue to make Philadelphia one of the best dining cities in the United States.
The Tasties return on Sunday, February 1, 2026, proudly hosted at Live Casino & Hotel. VIP guests begin their evening on the red carpet at 4 PM, where the excitement builds with photographers, media, industry pros, and supporters gathering to share the moment. For the Full Experience Ticket holders, doors open at 4:30 PM, where you will walk the red carpet and be greeted with a delicious cocktail as you enter the ballroom.

The Ceremony: A Culinary Awards Show Live on Stage
At 5 PM, guests take their seats for a live ninety minute awards ceremony that highlights the very best of Philadelphia food culture. The event features a custom designed stage, meaningful stories, emotional moments, and playful skits by local actors that bring the spirit of this community to life. Tables are set with small bites and snacks, along with wine service, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
The After Party: A Philadelphia Food Experience Like No Other
After the ceremony, the night opens into a large multi-room celebration that transforms Live Casino Philadelphia into an immersive world of food and drink. Guests can expect:
Signature dishes from leading Philadelphia chefs
Creative beverage activations and tasting stations
Themed rooms with unique visuals and experiences
Artisans, brewers, distillers, and makers from across the region
Live musicians and surprise performers

Future Tastemaker Award
This year introduces the Future Tastemaker Award, a new Philadelphia hospitality scholarship that recognizes rising stars under the age of 30. Three Future Tastemakers will each receive a $1,000 scholarship to support tools, books, or further education in food, wine, spirits, and hospitality.
Commitment to Fairness and Integrity
The Tasties continue to strengthen our nomination and judging process. A fifteen person committee of respected food journalists, lifestyle reporters, past award winners, creators, and community leaders oversees the selection.
